Holiday Gifts 2025

With holidays on the horizon, it's long past time to start thinking about the real reason for the season and that is gifts. Yes, yes, joy to all, peace on earth etc etc, but deep down what we all want to do is tear some wrapping paper off boxes and be dazzled by the contents.

In order to keep things a bit organized, we'll be putting this up as a central gift-giving post.

★★ Arceus' gift

As many of you long term players might already know, Arceus tends to drop a few gifts on the people he has brought here in December. And this year is no different! These gifts will be delivered December the 25th, and yes, they will go out to all. Arceus doesn't judge. Maybe he should, but he doesn't.

★★ Your gifts

If your character is the kind to get their friends a bunch of things, feel free to use this post to distribute the offerings. Much easier than hitting up a bunch of inboxes! If you would rather distribute your characters' gifts individually in various inboxes, that's fine too! This post is merely an option for people who'd like to keep things in one central location.

Now with that all out of the way, let us take a moment to wish you all a very merry Christmas, happy holidays, and for those that don't celebrate, just a generally nice December.

Finally, as mods we'd like to thank you all for another great and fun year, in which we treated Snorunts, raced Swinubs (okay mostly other Pokemon), time-traveled to prehistoric Johto, got lost in Smeargle art, foiled Rocket plots and dealt with a warp pad fiasco, and rescued passengers from a sinking ship. We look forward to next year (which the mods are busily plotting)!

Okay! A little Fae 101 for you all. Under no circumstances should you ever give anyone your full name ever. Fae do weird stuff with names, so if you don't want it being used against you, keep whatever you most identify with to yourself. ...although sometimes even then it's not guaranteed they won't just pull it out of your head.

Anyway, I figure someone should say something to that effect since we don't know who all we're dealing with, and I don't like the general radio silence.

Look! I remembered to post before December started this year!

Hello, friends! It's about to be December again, and you know what that means: the fact I am posting this actually before December 1 means

karzilla reminded me about the existence of linear time again. Wait, no -- well, yes, but also -- okay, look, let me back up and start again: it's almost December, and that means it's time for our annual December holiday points bonus.

The standard explanation: For the entire month of December, all orders made in the Shop of points and paid time, either for you or as a gift for a friend, will have 10% of your completed cart total sent to you in points when you finish the transaction. For instance, if you buy an order of 12 months of paid time for $35 (350 points), you'll get 35 points when the order is complete, to use on a future purchase.
